Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

We had tenants living in our rental house, but never made a signed agreement, only a verbal one. After five months they paid us no rent, stuck us with all the bills, stole our stuff and trashed our house. The will no longer answer my calls. Is there any way for me to get any money back from them with only a verbal agreement? There are several people, Realtors, and neighbors, that can verify their residence in my home. They also had the bills listed in their name for a short period of time, but then restored them to my name without consulting me.

You need to evict them ASAP via an Unlawful Detainer action in court.

You may then sue them (separate action) for rental damages pursuant to oral lease.
