my lawyer talks

ok im in a case right now working for the police, my lawyer know all aboutthis, and he told the person im narcing ons lawyer who in return told the the person. is my lawyer supposed to be talking to his about our cases?

You should first raise this concern with your lawyer. If you're not satisfied with their explanation, then talk to someone at the MN state bar association to determine if you should file a complaint. There are scenarios I can imagine when this would be proper, but it might not be. The facts will be important here, and we don't know them.
