Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Minnesota

My husband was permanently injured at work and we sued for damages

My husband was off work due to work related injuries and was fired at the end of the 6 month short term disability because his run was terminated (truck driver)Not true!! We hired an attorney who sued for compensation for his permanent knee and heart failure injuries. He settled without our knowledge for a very small amount the day before we were to go to court. We did not get any details on what the settlement was so I called his office at the time we were to be in court and was told he was in court. I feel like we were sold out so he could be in court for someone else. I want to know if we have the basis for an action against him for malpractice. Thankyou.

If the case was settled without your permission

and for an amount you had not approved you may

have a claim against the attorney.
