Legal Question in Personal Injury in Minnesota

settlement for personal injury case

Can a settlement for a personal injury case include a stipulation for payment of future medical bills? Also, does a settlement amount include the medical bills that have already been paid?

Re: settlement for personal injury case

I doubt any insurer would include in the Stip that they will pay future medicals. How would they ever know whether the future medicals would be a few hundred dollars or many thousands of dollars.

Also, if this involves an auto accident, your no-fault insurer would be responsible for medical bills unless you settle that claim too.
