my brother and i had a verbal agreement

My brother and I inherited 40 acres from our father him and I both hunted this land since we were 5 years old him 45 me 40 . I signed my half over to him for $5 with the understanding that he would sign it back to me at my request. we no longer speak and and he says that I am not welcome on our land. Is there anything I can do? and if so what.

I doubt there is anything you can do. A basic principle of real estate law is that nothing counts except what is put in writing. Verbal agreements don't count.

However, I think you should consult a lawyer about this. Details you have left out of your question could make a big difference.
