paying rent after forclosure

i got served papers saying that if back mortgage was not paid by jan. 9 the house i am living in will be forclosed on. now iwas told that i have 6 months before i have to be out. can my landlord charge me rent for those 6 months? does he still own the property?

Rent must still be paid to the owner until you receive a notice otherwise. He is still the owner until the foreclosure is complete.
