Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

I purchased a home in Minneapolis MN in Oct 2013. The seller did a wavier of disclosures since it has been used as a rental property for years and he did not reside there. My husband and I have discovered that over the winter we have pipes that freeze due to poor insulation and recently we have discovered the basement floods and the bedroom ceiling leaks. Even though the waiver was done can I ask the sellers to pay for repairs, escpecially the water issues? Obviously this has happened in the past didn't just magically start 6 months after purchasing the house.

You would also have to waive the disclosures to be effective. Minn. Stat. 513.55 requires written disclosures from the seller. This cannot be waived by the seller alone. You need to act quickly to enforce your rights. Please contact me right away to discuss the details further.
