Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

Travel Trailer Sale

I sold my trailer 18months ago to a woman who we agreed she would be put on monthly payments with a balloon payment on the 18th month of balance. That 18ms will be up in May. We both initialled each page and had the agreement notorized. Now she says because of economy she cant afford to get a loan to pay me the balloon balance and wants to extend the payments. Or have me take out a loan that she will pay which I refuse. She has already broken some of the other rules on this agreement. I think she is just using me as a sucker and may never pay the balance. Frankly I am tired of her jacking me around I want my money and want this to be a done deal and over with. What can I do to get it?

Re: Travel Trailer Sale

Your options depend on your agreement. Did you file a UCC financing statement with the secretary of state? What does your agreement say? I hate to not give you a straight answer, but I simply can't without getting more information from you.
