will i be offered a settlement from my employer or there insurer due to my injuries.

I don't want to sound harsh but in Minnesota Workers Compensation it depends on which finger and how much you lost. We have tables for that very issue. I have worked with two individuals over the years; one was a partial amputation of his index finger and the other lost his thumb. The benefit payable is call permanent partial disability and is percentage of disability usually paid in a lump sum or over a period of weeks/months.

In addition to the PPD, however, you may also be entitled to wage loss benefits. This benefit can sometimes be greater than the PPD.
