Legal Question in Workers Comp in Minnesota

workmen's compensation

a friend of mine fell while getting off a plane on a return flight home. She did not notify the employer, but did go to the ED - now the ins company says she needs to file a claim w/the airlines - shouldn't this be covered under WC and why should she pursue it with the airlines direct?

Your friend should contacta work comp lawyer or go to the work comp commission for help. If she was flying for her employer's business, it is a work comp claim andthe insurer has to sue the airline..not her..besides, the airline may not be at fault..
