Legal Question in Disability Law in Mississippi

I'm facing academic dismissal from school due to a failing grade. However, I've been diagnosed with clinical depression. Would I be protected by the disabilities act (the school has a equal opportunity for people with disabilities) when I appeal?

You are always protected by the disabilities act if you have a qualified disability. If you told your professor that you had a disability and he did not provide a suitable accommodation, you may get a retest on your failing class. Read your school handbook to learn about the appeal process at your school.
