Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Mississippi

What does this mean in layman's term? This is in relation to a gym membership. "Member shall be liable for payments for only that portion of the Agreement that can be attributed to the amount paid in excess of that proportional amount."

I would need to see the agreement to answer this question. I need to know who the agreement defines as a member, and what amount does the provision refer to.
