Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

I was arrested at my home on a warrant for shoplifting. I was not in that store on that day. I have spoken with the shop keeper who informed me she knows it was not me. Yes my photo was in her photo line up because I live right beside the store but she did not pick my photo out of the line up. Since she knows I was arrested and that I am not guilty shouldn't she go and drop the charges against me.If she doesn't and I have to go hire a lawyer go to court prove my innocents.When the person pressing charges knows I am not the right person what can I do about this? Also if she drops charges or I am found not guilty can I get my bond money back?

your bond money if paid though a bail agent is not refundable. If the charges are not dropped you need to hire an attorney. You may have a civil suit against the woman for various charges. Seek counsel I know myself and others offer free consultations
