When does child support start

I am a single father. My baby was born the middle of December. We have agreed on a monthly support payment. Should my 1st payment have begun on the day of birth or 1 month from that date?

Re: When does child support start

The Miss. courts require that you do what's best for the child. If the money is needed on the day of birth, that is the day it would be due.
