Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Contemp of COURT
My ex husband and I have been trying to reach an agreement on the custody of our 2 children.As far as I knew we were agreeing on everytthing. Come to find out he went to coury behing my back, I was never served any papers or notified an any way that we had a court date. Being that I wasnt there the judge gave him full custody, and I got visitation for the 2nd and 4th weekend of every month. This was filed on march the 7th. He didnt even tell me about this. we have been doing where we both get them for a week every other tuesday, so i called his mom to go and pick up the girls today and she told me what happend. since he didnt tell me i missed my first weekend which would have been march 11th. wouldnt he be in contemp is there any thing i can do about getting to see them since it is his fault i missed my first visit.

You need to obtain counsel to look into why you were not given notice. You need to file a motion to set the court order aside.
