paternity statue

is there a statue of limitation on determining a childs paternity in ms and where a copy may be obtained

Copy of what? paternity records? There are no "paternity records" in MS only the birth certificate. Call the office of vital statistics to get a copy of the birth certificate. Who ever is named as the father, if at all, is the legal father of the child. You must go through court to get it changed.
