Wife name change
I am still legally married,seperated for almost 2 years, can I drop my married name?

Not unless you get a court order, you must put that in the divorce that your name will go back to __________________. You can try to petition the chancery court for a name change without the divorce.

There is no law that prohibits you from using whatever name you want. However, you cannot have your name changed in the government records without a court order.
