Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Witholding vistation

I have a question, my husbands ex wife is refusing court ordered visitation with my husbands 2 children ages 8 & 16. The 16 yr old has had alot of trouble with the school and police and wants to move to be w/ dad. Mom is not allowing any contact phone or otherwise between them. There is a question of support, husband has been trying to pay support to her, but she will not report it when questioned by DA, no state has cuurent order orig is in CA. She's in MS dad's in PA. Boyfriend is physical with son throwing him up against walls, mom says its punishment police and CPS are involved. What can he do...he has not seen his children in 2 yrs. I'm the new wife and I have watched this nightmare go on for 8 yrs. She says unless he pays her more money he can't have any contact. Isn't this extortion??? No matter what amount he gives she is not giving any info re schools, medical he doesn't even know what they look like. He wants to fight for both kids and is worried about well being..the police do welfare checks for him on occassion when he is unable to contact them...any help or point in rright direction would be appreciated. thank you

Re: Witholding vistation

If the children have been in Mississippi six months or longer, I recommend you hire a Mississippi attorney. I believe you may also want to ask the Court to appoint a Guardian ad Litem.
