Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Mississippi

Telecommunications Negligence against small bus.

BellSouth Phone Co. has admitted negligence in handling my request for phone service for a garden nursery on my personal property. They took my request (twice) even when against tarrifs, but did not notify me, which left me out of the Yellow Pages. Now I am not in the YP during the first Spring season of my garden nursery which is the 3 month window of the year that generates 70% of the yearly revenue. I calculate to loose $5k for just these 3 months, yet BSouth is offering only $500 in YP/phone services compensation. Does BellSouth have power to hide behind tarrifs in order to avoid proper compensation for their negligence? What are my chances of winning such a civil suit when I'm a multiple minority small business owner with lots of justification? Thank You!

Your case sounds fascinating, and, yes, in a summary, I think that you may have a good case for damages against Bellsouth. Tell me more about the tariffs.
