Legal Question in Employment Law in Mississippi

Comp Time

I work for a Ms Law Enforcement Agency. I'm paid a monthly salary and, I'm subject to being called out 24 hrs a day. Recently our agency sent me out of state for training on a weekend. Since the tript I've been told I'm a salary employee and considered law enforcement therefore since they paid for my school, travel, hotel, thats all they are required to pay and I'm not going to get any comp time for the that weekend.

Any suggestions. And we do not get paid for any over time.
