Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Mississippi

I was recently sent to a back surgeon by workman's comp due to a lower back problem which is L4-5, L5-S1 bulging disc and degenerative disc in L4-5. He asked me to climb onto table and I couldn't because of the severity of the pain. When I asked him to help me his response was what do you want me to do. He then told me to take a seat in the chair. He felt underneath the back brace and said it was too loose and not of any support. He then asked me to stand up and put my cane down and walk toward him. I leaned on the table and he said not to lean, to stand up straight and walk. When I couldn't he became upset and told me to go have a seat in the hallway.Minutes later, his nurse brought me a paper stating that I can return to work full duty.He didn't do anything else or ask me about what type of work I was doing. How could he come to that conclusion without a full examination? My pain has gotten worse and I don't think it's right that he as a doctor, did not seem the least bit concerned about my health or well being. Even though I was referred to him by workman's comp, isn't it his responsibility as a physician to make decisions based upon my medical diagnosis?
