changing lawyers

Is it possible for me to get back all of my paperwork after 15 months of nothing from my present lawyer in my personal injury case and hire a different attorney?

I am an Al atty so the rules may be slightly different however you can always termninate the services of your atty. He may require you to pay his expenses to get the file if Ms. allows it. However if a new atty wants your case he will pay the costs if he is serious. It is usually best to first work out your problems with the atty you have if possible. If not hire someone else.
