Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Mississippi

My fathers property is in a life estate with his nine children. Two siblings have passed away since the life estate was formed. Are their children legally entitled to their portion once the property is sold?

The answer depends on the deed to the children which provided the life estate. Once the life estate expires the property reverts to the seller or someone he or she designated as the new owner of the property. Depending on how the deed was worded there may be claims due to heirship or there may not.
