Re: adult children & wills

There is no general requirement in Mississippi law that any child, adult or minor, must be in a Will. You can leave your property to whomever you wish in a Will. There could be a problem with leaving a husband or wife out, but none when it comes to anyone else as long as there is no undue influence that procured the Will. Best bet is to have a lawyer do your Will and not do it yourself as there are a few technical requirements that must be met for the Will to be considered valid.
