Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri
my home was forclosed on because i hired a law firm for chapter 13 bankruptcy.i feel the law firm did not do proper research and did not respond when i informed them that there was a problum with the lender .is the law firm responsibal.

If the firm botched the bankruptcy case, they may be liable for malpractice or fruad. But, the mere fact that you got foreclosed on, does not in itself, equal liability. You should ask for an explanation from the firm. If you are not satisfied. get your file and take it to another attorney for a second opinion.
