Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

I have a letter from my builder that he sent to us saying our loan would not balloon until occupancy not closing, The letter is on his letter head and typed out. The builder claims now almost three years later since he didn't sign it and only typed his signature that it is not binding. Is this a binding contract?

A signature can be typed, printed, writtenm in cryaon, or in some cases just be the person['s finger print or symbol. That fact that the signature was typed, doe snto diminish the efectivenenss of the contract. If it were acotnranct has he used an ink pen, it probably still is good. What is important is what the letter says, not how he signed it, because he signed it well enough for most courts

Good luck
