Computer history and cahce printing

If i print off the cached web page from my computers history from somebody else as proof that he has been cheating on his wife. And this was done without installing any software it was all done from within internet explorers history bar. can i be prosecuted?

The answer to the question you ask depends on how you got access to the computer, and whose computer it is.

If it is your computer (this is unclear from your message), then you are in no trouble. You can print off anything off your computer.

If the computer is that of another individual, the answer depends on how you got access. If the wife asked you to look at his comptuer, and she consented to you doing so, unless the computer belongs to some third party, her consent would be valid. If you gained access through hacking in to the computer, that would probably be criminal.

But if you had legal access to the computer, using the history files and printing them out would not be a violation of the criminal law. This is especially true were you were acting as the agent of the wife where the wife had some ownership interest in the computer (and even if the husband bought the computer, if he did so while married, the computer is a marital asset, and the wife can grant you permission to look at it).
