Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri

Propane pre-purchase

Last year (1999) I pre-purchased 800 gals. propane to secure the best price. 0.6083 I used 440 gallons, today when I asked about this year they told me unfortunately I only used 440 gallons and I have a dollar credit I can use on this years purchase at .95 per gallon. They have used my money for a year, I thought I purchased gallons of propane and now I don't have any and I have to pay a higher price this year. What should I do? I am a single working person who tries to make responsible decisions. I feel like they misled me and have taken advantage of me, and I have been a faithful customer for 20 years. I will appreciate your help in deternining what I should do.

Re: Propane pre-purchase

If you purchased 800 gallons, and only used 440, I would think there were 360 gallons unused which you could still use. If you did not get what you paid for, or feel you have been the victim of an intentional scam, you can contact the Attorney Generals office in Jefferson City.
