Is suspended imposition of sentence reportable for employment purposes

I would have to know more about the situation. Has the probation been served? If so, then there should be no record to report, except with respect to police agencies. Generally speaking it is my understanding that if an employer runs a background check with the Highway Patrol, and the SIS was entered on the record and the probation has been served, it will not be reported. You could probably call the background check people at the Highway Patrol and get a better answer.

However, keep in mind that if you are applying for a license or other federal government employment, that it is probably better to disclose the arrest and state that you received a suspended imposition of sentence and completed the probationary period. Read the question carefully and answer it truthfully. Consult an attorney if you need further advice.
