Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri

my wife signed up for an online school. the representative that we met with told us we could get our own loan to freeze her previous school loan. now that we are past the buyer remorse period. they say we have to use there the company they use for the loan only because they are not a real school they are independent education publisher and research company. the representative we talked to told us they were a school. now if she drops there classes she will still be charged the full amount because of the contract. she didn't ever log in to start a class yet. basicly this guy lied the whole time get us roped in so he can make a buck and now are going to be out a few grand

You should cancel the class, report the "school" to the Missouri Attorney General and the US Depts of Education and Commerce.

Good luck
