Do I have the right to go to the persons place of employment to ask for the money owed to me on a judgement?

Usually, no. But you do have the right to execute on the judgment. If the judgment is a small claims court judgment, you can go to the clerk and ask for help in preparing the proper forms. Basically you serve the person's employer with "Interrogatories to Garnishee" which are usually standard forms in the County where your suit is on file. You also serve a garnishment in the amount of the total due. The employer is then directed by the court to take a portion of wages for a certain amount of time to pay you off.

If the judgment is from circuit or associate circuit court, then you need to have a lawyer help you effect the garnishment on the debtor.

If you go to the place of business, it might be seen as harassment, and you don't want that kind of trouble.
