Can they take monies from my check for a default judgement in Missouri

I think you are asking about awage garnishment. The gerneal answer is "Yes" a paycheck can be garnished to satisfy a default judgment debt. It will be about 25%u net wages, unless you can declare yourself head of household..

If there is a money judgment against you, whether or not it was obtained by default, then a normal method of collecting on a judgment would be a wage garnishment. Depending upon how long ago the judgment was entered it may not be too late to have it set aside and either defend the suit or negotiate some sort of settlement. Sometimes a judgment creditor will drop the garnishment upon the voluntary payment of some amount of money. Also, you are entiled to certain protections under the law. You should consult with an attorney.
