1st Marijuana Possesion, Careless Driving, Paraphenalia, DWI, Failure to obey Of

Was 2 blocks from home when car in front slammed brakes & I slammed on to avoid injury, one tire slid into neighbor's yard. Pulled back to pavement and proceeded 150 feet, heard someone yell & stopped. Officer handcuffed me, searched car, states found pipe and leafy substance...asked for phonecall to lawyer but was partially questioned prior to getting call. Handcuffs left left hand numb & car towed but $100 left on seat gone. Charged with 5 counts listed above and told found bottle of medicine that was used for hospice care of my father...but not charged with possession of that.Should I file complaint for numb hand/missing money?

You definitely need to hire an attorney to represent you in defense of the pending charges. Once you have sucessfully dealt with them, you will have plenty of time to consider filing a claim or a lawsuit based upon injuries sustained during your arrest. If you are not already represented by legal counsel, you may call me for a free telephone consultaition at 314-727-2822.
