Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

I was accused of 20 years ago of something I did not do by my ex husband and his girl friend I was arrested and had to be in jail for a couple of days this was in 1996 in Georga I could not afford a lawyer at the time and it was my word against them, me and my children at the time was homeless no job no money now I want a good job will that affect me through a criminal background check

Depending upon what you were convicted of, the matter may appear in a criminal record search.. You might want to talk with a Georgia licensed attorney about getting the conviction expunged or the records sealed.
