Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

car accident

my sons truck was used on sunday by his roommate and girlfriend. They totaled the car. Told the police at the scene she was driving. The tickets accident report state she was the driver. Now she's telling her parents she wasn't driving but lied to the police to cover for the boyfriend. Now her parents are telling insurance to this. What do we do here? My sons out a vehicle, the two people that borrowed it lied to the police, he didn't have a lic or ins only she did. What would happen if she told the police the truth now.

I would need to gather more information to give you an accurate assessment of who should pay for the property damage. If you had full coverage on the car, then your insurance should most likely cover the property damage. If you did not have full coverage and the at-fault driver of the vehicle did, then you could potentially also have a claim for property damage under that other policy.
