Re: Driving without a license

You should get an attorney. Without having a an amendmnent, it is quite possible you could get jail time. This is no longer a small time ticket, like minor speeding. Take it seriously. If you got your ticket in the western half of the state, I may be able to represent you.

Good Luck,

Re: Driving without a license

Were you charged with driving while revoked, driving while suspended, or driving without a license? Do you have a license now? These are examples of things that would be helpful for an attorney to know before giving you any legal advice in response to your question. I can definitely tell you that you do not want to just walk into court and plead guilty. Under some circumstances the judge might be required to give you at least two days in jail, and can also fine you heavily. The worst thing is that your actions might result in any drivers license you have being revoked or suspended for a lengthy period of time by the DOR. Do yourself a big favor and hire an attorney to represent you, then follow your attorney's advice. If you need to ask the judge for a continuance in order to get time to hire an attorney I am sure that you will get the continuance. If this case is pending in a court in the Eastern half of the state I might be able to help you myself. You may call me at 314-727-2822.
