False report
While intoxicated I filed a false report with police I tried to plead guilty however judge said I should continue to find a lawyer and judge denied a public defender. Why would a judge do this and how many times am I able to continue this

Why in the world would you want to plead guilty , take the conviction, and the punishment? The Judge is telling you that you are making a big mistake, a mistake that can be avoided by hiring an attorney. You should consult with a criminal defense attorney in the jurisdiction where you are facing the charge as soon as possible. Different Judges have different amoounts of patience with this situation, so you can not count on being able to continue the case for very long. Good luck.
