Worried, Wonder what the outcome will be
My son was arrested for 2 class B felony. This is a first time offence. He went through Drug Treatment over a year before these charges came in and has been clean since and moved 1000 miles away from this state. When he learned of the warrent for his arrest he came in and Volentary surrendered himself. He is also a sigle father with custody of his child and they are doing very well away from here. These charges were from a time when he had an addiction to pain medications having waited 5 years to have the very needed surgery. He was the only one trying to work and support his wife and 4 children [ 3 were step children who's own father never payed any support] What are his chances of getting probation?

favorable that he did the progam. hire a lawyer early in the case.
