aging parents
are living children required to provide and take care of parents that can no longer take care of themselves??? Like provide housing ect so they will not be homelss and out on the streets? What is someone whodannot take care of them selves anymore to do --if they have very little ss. and cannot survive with rental--food ect ect??
Re: aging parents
While children may have a moral obligation to take care of their parents, there is no legal obligation. If a parent cannot take care of themself, you can ask to have the public administrator appointed as guardian. That is often a good approach to take in these situations.
