Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Changing my last name and my childrens

I don't want to be associated with my father any longer. He has a terrible reputation and I don't want anyone to link me or my children to him. The problem is, when I divorced my husband, I took my maiden name back and when my kids were born, I gave them both my maiden name. Now I would like to change it. Is this legally possible? Thanks.

Yes, I believe that you would be able to file either one three-count petition or three separate petitions and obtain court orders legally changing the names of yourself and your children. Without more information, I can not give you much more specific information, however, if you are in the Eastern part of the state you may call me for a free telephone consultation.
