Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I don't have the contact information for the mother of my child and she will not respond on facebook. What are the steps I need to take to start seeing my son?

You may need to file a request or Motion to set a visitation schedule, if one hasn't already been established. If paternity has not already been established, you might need to also do that. You might be able to do some of this on your own. But you should already consult directly with a family law attorney in your area, to determine it options. They will need access to more of the particular facts of your situation, then you are able to provide here.

Good luck

If you were married when the child was born, or if you signed an Affidavit of Paternity, you are the legal father and have the same rights to the child as the Mother. If not, you will need to file a Petition in Court to determine paternity and obtain specific custody rights. I have handled many such cases over the last 35 years. You may call me for a free telephone consultation.
