Custody Agreement

Mother and I were never married

and we have 1 child. We have an

agreement on visitation and child

support. Do we have to file a

''determination of paternity'' or is

there something else we can do to

make it legal?

You need to file a Petition with the Court in order for you to have any legal rights at all. If you do not already have an attorney, you may call me for a free telephone conference. I have handled hundreds of these situtations in the thirty years I have been practicing law.
