discrepancy inname use and birth certificate
My husband just found out today while requesting a copy of his birth certificate that he has not been living under his legal name after 56 years.What sort of legal problem is this going to be for him and I after being married 28 years?

Under the facts, as you describe them, there does not appear to be any fraud committed by your husband. Therefore, he i snot likely to get into any criminal trouble, or have nay civil liability to anyone. However, he may have trounble when it comes time to collect Social Security. It may be to yoru husband's advantage to get his name legally changed. He can get the name on the birth certificate changed to the name he has used all along.
