Why are some divorces finalized with an uncontested hearing and others are not. What is the difference?

Not to be flippant, but some dicorces a re mutually agreed as to the facts alleged by the Petitioner, and others are contested, menaing the repondent does not agree with what the Petitioner stated as to; the status of the marriage, the placement of their children, or the dispersal of marital property. If the parties do nto agree, then there maight be atrial. If the spouses agree on everything, then the case may be concluded by an uncontested hearing, where the judge orders what the parties already agreed to.
