Do i have to let there father see them

My husband jusst got out of prison my ids are scared of him. When we lost custody to the state in 2000 he went to prison i fought the court and got them back. Do i have to let him see the children is it better if i do and be dfont with the fight or should i tell him to take me to court. When i got the children back i was given custody. Any help or information you could give me would be a gigantic help

Your question does not include enough information for an attorney to provide very much help. In what legal proceeding did you obtain "custody" of your children? Was the father a party to that proceeding? Have his legal rights been terminated or otherwise adjudicated by a court of law? When you obtained "custody" did the Order mention the father in any way? An attorney would have to know all about these facts, and probably review the legal documents themselves before advising you concerning your rights or duties.
