Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My fiancee paid $1674 on his child support last month so he could get his license back. He is a truck driver and needs them to work. They reinstated the suspension day before yesterday. He has a job now so he needs them to work and make payments. Can they do that? We live in Missouri.

It is impossible to guess what the extent of his support arrearage, or the reasons for the new suspension. Therefore, no one here can tell you if they could have or should have suspended his license. The obvious answer, "yes they can" because they did.. It would be improper to guess at what defenses he may have. The wise thing is for your fiance to consult directly with a defense attorney in his area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. He should find one ad give them all the information that you weren't able to provide here. After knowing all the pertinent facts, and seeing the relevant documents, that attorney can hopefully give him advice as to his options.

Good luck
