Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My girlfriend signed temporary guardianship for her two kids to her mom a year ago so that she could go to rehab. Now she is clean 1 year and her mom will not allow her to see, talk to, or visit them at all. What can we do legally to communicate and visit the kids?

Was there a court order? It is necessary to see what she signed. If the time for that has expired she will have to file to get her kids back.

Your "girlfriend"???? Why didn't you marry her before making babies with her???? You don't have any legal rights concerning the previous children you created. Sometimes a very good attorney can fix the terrible legal problems you have created. Sometimes not. You need to hire a lawyer. I've handled literally hundreds of these legal messes over the 38 years that I've been practicing law. I may be able to offer my services to you. How important are these children to you? Call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822. Or, call another attorney. It's not too late.
