grandparents taking custody from unfit mother
the mother of our granddaughter is unfit. she doesn't feed her regularly, rarely gives a bath, and in general neglects her. for a while she was taking her to bars and letting her run around and play on the dirty floors and not pay attention to her. she is getting ready to move out of state. she has no job and is pregnant again. we need to know what forms we need and what we need to do to take custody of our granddaughter away from the mother and given to us. would appreciate any help asap. thank you. time is running out

If your true intention is for hte welfare of the child, call DFS and tell them the facts that you know. You can tell them that you are willing to "family foster" the child.
