Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

How long am i legally bound to paying for medical insurance for my children. My son and daughter both live with their mother and go to college.Son is 20 my daughter is 22. My new wife carries all of us on her insurance through her work but when my daughter turns 23 they will not cover her. Am i bound by law to cover her till a certain age or till they're out of school? It is written in my decree that i am to cover paying for medical insurance but till when? What do i do?

Thank you very much.

I would have to read your judgment to be able to give you any competent legal advice on your situation. But, in most cases your duty to provide medical insurance for a child terminates when your duty to pay child support terminates. In other words, when the child is emancipated. Your 22 year old daughter is probably emancipated, and it is possibly true for you son as well. Consult with an attorney. You will probably save more money than you spend getting good legal advice.
