My child is 10 months old, no help or support from the

father, just dna test that made him pay support, i receive welfare. his grand parents contacted me @two months ago to see the baby.they have had the baby a couple of times over the weekend, allways returned the child. the farther ask to visit for one week, and will not return my baby.

we have never been to court on any rights,

he is not on the birthcerticate,and differnt last names. the city or county police or prosacuteing attorney of my town will not help me get my child home, i have a lawyer & filer thur court for custody rights, the baby has not been returned to my care !

If you have an attorney as you state in your question, you should be asking him or her for the answers to your legal questions. You are entitled to seek a second opinion from another attorney of course, but in my opinion the second attorney should contact your present attorney prior to discussing your case with you. I realize that not all attorneys will agree with me on this point. Finally, you may always discharge your present attorney and hire a new attorney if you are not satisfied with the legal services you are recieving.
